Amanda Needham is the Managing Director of the Telly Awards, a 45 year old global award program honoring excellence in video and TV across all screens. She has directed international documentaries for Al Jazeera, produced commercial campaigns for Philips, and advised on feature films headed to Sundance. A Fulbright scholar who has lectured internationally on the political roots of remix video, she holds a B.A. in History from Yale and an M.S. in Multimedia Journalism from the U. of Oregon.
The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.
